Cost: $100

In this class students will create a personalized Swedish Dolly, learning essential techniques to knit, stuff, sew and embellish a Boy, Girl or Christmas Elf. At the end of class you will be able to apply the taught skills and use your imagination to make any Dolly. Although this is a beginning class, basic knitting skills are required.

Materials Included:  Participants will receive a kit that includes the pattern and yarn to knit their doll in the two weeks prior to the course date, choosing the Girl/Boy or Christmas Elf. Elisabeth will bring all supplies necessary to complete your doll and many of her own Dolly collection. 

Please bring the following to class:  A small scissors, a bent or straight heavy tapestry needle, a pencil and notepaper and your kit with the knit body and leftover yarn. 

Elisabeth currently resides in Marin. She learned to knit and sew Swedish handwork pieces during long summer days visiting family in the Swedish countryside. She has continued the traditions and her education to create contemporary knitted, needlework and embroidery projects today.
